This Privacy Policy explains how Shayne Mele / SMSF Property collects and handles personal information submitted through the SMSF Property Scorecard and related pages.

Shayne Mele works as an independent buyers agent through Moove Property Buyers Agency. You can contact us at shayne@moove.com.au.

We collect the information you choose to provide, including your first name, email address, phone number if provided, quiz answers, score, result tier, email consent record, and optional call-preparation details such as total fund balance, member ages, annual concessional contributions, target suburb, and target purchase price.

We may also collect basic technical and source information, such as UTM parameters and IP-derived rate-limiting data, to understand where submissions came from and to protect the form from spam or abuse.

We use this information to calculate and save your scorecard result, send your scorecard or follow-up emails where you have consented, tailor any strategy call you request, maintain consent and unsubscribe records, improve the scorecard, and protect the service from spam or misuse.

The scorecard provides general information only. It is not personal financial advice, tax advice, legal advice, or SMSF advice.

We use Google Analytics 4, a service provided by Google, to understand how visitors use the scorecard - for example, which pages are viewed and how far through the quiz people get. This helps us improve the experience.

Google Analytics sets cookies and collects usage data such as page paths, quiz steps completed, device and browser type, and approximate location derived from your IP address. We have configured it so this data is not used for advertising. You can opt out through your browser settings or Google's opt-out browser add-on, and you can read how Google handles this data in the Google Privacy Policy at https://policies.google.com/privacy.

At the email capture step, we ask for your agreement to receive emails from Shayne Mele / SMSF Property, including your Scorecard PDF, related follow-ups, and the SMSF Property Quarterly.

You can unsubscribe at any time using the unsubscribe link in the footer or any email we send. We keep an unsubscribe record so we can honour that request.

We use service providers to operate the site and database, including hosting, form security, database storage, and email or business systems. These providers only receive information needed to provide those services.

We may also share information if required by law, to protect our rights, or with professional advisers where reasonably necessary. We do not sell your personal information.

Quiz responses are stored in Supabase. We use server-side validation, row level security, private service-role writes, spam protection, and restricted database access to reduce the risk of unauthorised access.

No online service can guarantee perfect security. Please do not submit sensitive information that is not requested by the form.

You can contact us to ask for access to personal information we hold about you, to request correction, or to ask a privacy question or complaint.
